Reviving the Recipe Blog!
Hey ladies
I am not sure who even checks this blog anymore, but I am hoping that we can revive this thing and really get it going and use to help each other out! I know I am desperate need of some new things to eat and cook. So please come and share your favorite meals, desserts, etc.
Cliff's favorite cake is German chocolate. His mother for years has used this frosting recipe and it has come to be one of our favorites.
1 can evaporated mild
1 1/2 cup sugar
5 egg yolks
1/3 cup butter
bring all those ingredients to a boil for 6-7 minutes and stir constantly then after its done boiling add
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup coconut
1 cup chopped nuts (we use walnuts)
